Blueberry pie cheesecake bars

 Perhaps the cheesecake is overrated now, at least here in Serbia. At one point it became a great hit, and now it is almost forgotten. I don’t see why. I know why my mother doesn’t like it, she is not fond of cheese taste in a cake, but that is the thing with cheesecake, cheese in a cake, right? So, when I came across this recipe, not just the photo, which is indeed appealing, but the ingredients I wanted to try it, immediately.

 The other thing, that isn’t common, is the shape of this dessert. Bars. You can have only one, just to try it, and you can also have as many as you like, it’s the thing with bars, you just can’t stop. But it doesn’t have to be bars, you can shape it as you want. Round shape as classic cheesecake, or individual round pieces, which takes a little more time to prepare.


/Čizkejk štanglice sa borovnicom/

 Čini mi se da je čizkejk precenjen danas, barem ovde u Srbiji. U jednom trenutku je postao veliki hit, a sad je skoro zaboravljen. Ne vidim zašto. Znam zašto ga moja mama ne voli, ne dopada joj se ukus sira u kolaču, ali to je poenta čizkejka, sir u kolaču, zar ne? Zato, kad sam naišla na ovaj recept, ne samo na fotku, koja je zaista privlačna, nego i na sastojke, poželela sam da ga probam, odmah.

 Druga stvar, koja nije uobičajena, je oblik ovog dezerta. Štangla. Možeš da uzmeš samo jednu, da bi probao, a možeš i da uzmeš koliko želiš, to je stvar sa štanglicama, jednostavno ne možeš da staneš. Ali ne moraju da budu štanglice, možete da oblikujete po volji. Okruglo, kao klasični čizkejk, ili pojedinačni okrugli kolačići, za čiju pripremu je potrebno malo više vremena.
